Diamond Blade Safety Precautions

Failure to comply could result in serious injury

  1. Inspect saw daily for excessive wear, core cracking and arbor damage. Replace any blade showing signs of damage.
  2. When mounting blade, clean arbor and flanges and inspect for damage. Fit blade onto arbor shaft between inner and outer flanges and tighten the nut securely.
  3. Do not place any part of the body in line with the blade while it is operating. Keep guards in place while operating saw.
  4. Wet cutting blades must be used with water. Wet cutting must only be performed with State Electricity Authority approved machines.
  5. Always wear safety gear for your protection.
  6. Sawing generates dust which may cause irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Always employ dust controls & protection appropriate to the material being sawn.

NOT SUITABLE FOR CUTTING METAL, PLASTIC, WOOD OR NON-MASONRY MATERIALS

Wet Cutting must only be performed with State Electricicty Authority approved machines.
