Diamond Blade Directions For Use
- Blade must be fitted closely on spindle between straight, clean, equal sized flanges. Turn by hand to check concentric rotation.
- Observe basic safety procedures.
- Pre-sharpen blade with shallow cuts in soft abrasive material (e.g. sandstone).
- For normal cutting, multiple shallow cuts maintain sharpness better than single deep cuts.
- Use light pressure. Forcing or twisting blade in cut will cause loss of sharpness, excess wear, overheating, distortion and segment damage.
- If cutting speed slows, SHARPEN blade as per step (3) above.
- To prevent overheating with dry use, make shallow cuts only for a maximum of 20 seconds, then cool blade by free running in air.
Warranty claims for overheated or misused blades will not be accepted.
Wet Cutting must only be performed with State Electricicty Authority approved machines.
